Jon Stewart makes a face by having to confirm to Harris that Trump won the election
In one of the viral media moments of the week, comedian Jon Stewart He mocked Vice President Kamala Harris’ presiding over his election defeat at “his own funeral.”

“Poor baby… But it sucks,” Stewart added.
Stewart played a video clip of Harris reading Trump’s electoral college votes before the chamber erupted into applause.
“It’s disgusting,” Stewart said later, scowling.
“He’s like, ‘Um, I can hear you,'” she said. “It’s like attending your own funeral, and even the mourners say, ‘Woo hoo!’
“I can’t imagine anything more uncomfortable than standing there with the crowd cheering for your opponent,” he said.

After Harris read his electoral votes to cheers from Democrats, Stewart joked, “There’s a lot of joy in that room. I think he can still win the job!”
“He just needs to get 130,000 votes in Georgia! Then he can pick up a few votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania and maybe Wisconsin. Maybe North Carolina…” he trailed off.
The comedian concluded the segment by applauding the civility of the certification ceremony.
“It’s amazing how smoothly our democracy runs when you don’t act like a bit of a b—h when you lose. Not naming names! Just saying,” he said.
Election certification by Congress was the last step before that Trump’s inauguration on January 20.
