Jessica Alba’s estranged husband could receive $2 million annually in their divorce
Reports indicate that Warren, who appears to have been a stay-at-home husband, may receive $2 million annually from his wealthy wife, regardless of whether the couple had a prenuptial agreement.
The revelation comes after it was revealed that Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have ‘separated’ and are ‘heading for divorce’ after being spotted in public without their engagement ring on.

Cash Warren may walk away richer after his divorce from Jessica Alba

Alba and Warren’s marriage may have fallen apart, but a new report suggests the househusband may be walking away with a hefty payout.
In the chat with Sun USAlegal expert and certified family law specialist Goldie Shawn explained that Warren could receive $2 million annually from Alba, as the Fantastic Four actress has to pay much more than child support.
Shawn, who specializes in complex custody and divorce cases, explains that Warren’s chances of coming out of their 16-year marriage richer will not depend on the presence or absence of a previous marriage, especially because of the large difference in their wealth.

While Alba co-founded The Honest Company, which is valued at $609 million and was once worth more than $1 billion, Warren is a producer who doesn’t appear to have worked in the industry since 2015.
“Even if there’s a prenup and she can keep what’s hers, so the Honest Company, which is quite profitable, that’s not going to stop the spousal support issue,” Shawn told the news outlet.
She continued: “We’ve changed when it comes to prenuptial agreements, and we’ve had some very big cases in history where prenuptial agreements could not stop spousal support between couples who are about to get married.”

Changes in legislation that could benefit Cash Warren and make him rich

The legal expert went on to explain a potential clause that could make Warren richer regardless of whether or not a prenuptial agreement exists.
Shawn gave an example, noting that if a purported prenuptial agreement states that neither Alba nor Warren is going to receive spousal support, a court can decide that the provision is “in good faith, throw it out, and still award spousal support in with the same keys as if the prenup had never existed.”
She also noted that the court may find that a possible prenuptial agreement, which was signed 16 years ago and before Alba made millions with her company, is no longer reasonable.
Also, because their marriage falls under California’s long-term marriage rules, there would be no guidelines as to when spousal support should end.

“Spousal support will continue until someone dies or someone goes back to court and tries to stop it or change it or make it go away,” she continued.
Shawn added: “Because it’s a long-term marriage, the court basically has no right to say you’re only going to pay your spouse for seven years. Eight years, two years doesn’t matter. Only two people who can enter into such an agreement.” .

The actress shared a cryptic message hinting at their split

The 43-year-old actress recently posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account about letting go of things that “make me question my worth.”
“2024 cleared the way, 2025 conquers the magic,” Alba wrote in a note next to photos of her with her daughters and friends.
She added: “My mantra for 2025 is if it disturbs my peace of mind, it’s damn expensive. If it dulls my brilliance, it has to go. If it makes me question its value, it will stay in 2024. I enter 2025 focused and completely in my power.”
Although she and Warren are rarely seen together, the separated couple reunited to celebrate their son’s seventh birthday last week at Universal Studios.

Jessica Alba Says She and Cash Warren Were Like ‘Roommates’

It looks like Alba and Warren lost their love for each other a long time ago, as an old clip has surfaced of her saying they were more like “roommates” years before news of their split was confirmed.

“Everything was rosy for two and a half years. But after that, you become roommates,” Alba shared. Page six. “You’re just doing tasks. You have responsibilities. It’s a lot like checking off boxes, right?”

“Obviously we have a friendship, a comfort, like, ‘you’re not going anywhere,’ and so sometimes you don’t treat these people in the best way, right?” – said Alba. “You don’t consider their feelings the same way you would other people’s feelings, so that’s something I think you constantly have to work on.”
