He went on to thank “every nurse, doctor, EMS operator,” adding that he “literally owes you my life.”

“My whole heart goes out to my handsome, brave nephew and the angels (my neighbors) who came to my rescue and endured the chaos for 45 long minutes on the icy asphalt New Year’s morning,” he continued. “I’m so sorry for all the nasty images I’ve imprinted on you all (I’ll spare you all the meat-shredding images.)”

Dashcam footage captured by emergency services documented the chaotic moments immediately following the crash involving Jeremy Renner’s snowplow. Video showed emergency responders attending to Renner, who was critically injured after being run over by a 14,300-pound snowplow near his home in Reno, Nevada. Footage also captured the tense atmosphere as medical teams worked quickly to stabilize him before rushing him to hospital for emergency treatment.

Renner’s nephew, Alex Fries, quickly turned to actor Rich Kovach’s neighbor and Kovach’s partner, Barb Fletcher, for help. Together, they sprang into action, working tirelessly to keep Renner alive until paramedics arrived on the scene.

Two years ago, Jeremy Renner was in critical condition after a devastating accident involving a seven-ton snowplow near his property in Reno, Nevada on January 1st.
