Jennifer Lopez ‘offered her support’ to Toben Affleck amid Los Angeles fires
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reportedly been in close contact since the Los Angeles fires forced the actor to evacuate his Pacific Palisades home.
The singer has already canceled several of her upcoming media appearances to “focus” on supporting relief efforts in communities affected by the devastating disaster.

The former couple have been in “regular contact” since the bushfires broke out

Lopez appears to have put aside her differences with Affleck to support him and his children during these sad times.
According to reports, the “Hustlers” actress was “concerned and concerned” for his safety after learning that his neighborhood was one of those forced to evacuate as a result of the fire.
The source said Page six that she “reached out as soon as she heard that Ben’s house might be in danger and that he had been evacuated” to see how he was doing during the “whole ordeal” and to reassure him that “she’s there with him and the children.”
“She offered her support for whatever they needed,” the source explained, adding that Lopez offered to “help in any way.”

Ben Affleck’s Pacific Palisades home survives

In July 2024, the same day that Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday, the “Argo” actor purchased his “bachelor pad” in Pacific Palisades for $20.5 million.
Although he was forced to evacuate the property, Affleck recently returned to his home to check on it, as it luckily survived the Pacific Palisade wildfires.
Early last year, Affleck and Lopez sparked speculation of a rift after months of not being photographed together publicly.
Affleck even left their family home in Beverly Hills and moved into a $100,000-a-month rental property in Brentwood, near his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their children.

The actor’s house is still under evacuation

According to Page Six, even though Affleck’s house was destroyed in the fire, he still doesn’t have a chance to go back for good.
“Ben’s home is still under an evacuation order, but he’s so thankful his property is safe for now,” a source told the news outlet.
“Ben knows a lot of people who have unfortunately lost their homes. He’s seen a lot of devastation and it’s beyond tragic…Ben is reaching out to anyone he can to help,” the source added.
More than 10 people have reportedly died in the fires in Los Angeles, and another 170,000 have been forced to evacuate or have been forced to evacuate while relief efforts continue. More than 2,000 buildings, including homes and businesses, were destroyed.

“It’s important for her to focus on supporting the Los Angeles community during this very difficult time,” a source told the publication.

Lopez and Affleck finally divorced after the singer called it quits in August.
The “Ain’t Your Mama” singer has filed a settlement document in Los Angeles Superior Court, detailing who will get what after the split. The document was signed on September 25, 2024, but submitted only on December 31, 2024. It will become official on February 20, 2025.
The exes didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement during their marriage, so they settled through mediation with Hollywood divorce attorney Laura Wasser.
According to TMZeach of them will get what they acquired during the marriage, because neither of them is willing to spend money. Also, neither will pay child support to the other; however, details of other financial matters are being kept under wraps.
