Jennifer Aydin is under fire for Jersey Mike’s ‘disgusting’ attack

Fans have since taken to social media to criticize the reality star for her remarks, calling her comments insensitive and disrespectful.

On Wednesday, the reality star shared a video of herself and a relative stopping for a sandwich at the popular chain before leaving for vacation.

In a clip that has now gone viral, Jennifer Aydin expressed her frustration with the service and wait times at the diner.

The video quickly caused a reaction on the Internet, and many fans accused Aydin of ageism and disrespect for service workers.

“The 80-year-old woman who worked there took almost as long to slice the bread as we waited in line. God,” she said in a video posted by Bravo’s fan account on TikTok. “Everything has been slow … we understand. It’s early morning, the mood is bad, New Year’s is at work. I would be angry too.’

In her statement on social media, Aydin described the escalation of the dispute, which began when she tried to change her order after she had already placed it.

The Bravo star then told her followers that she tried adding tuna to her order for one of her sons after she had already placed her original order. According to Aydin, staff told her she needed to either go back to the end of the line or ask the customer behind her for permission to add an extra sandwich.

However, a man in line reportedly rejected her request, calling it “ridiculous” and refusing to let her change her order as it would have made the wait longer.

Aydin claimed that the man behind her in line, whom she described as a “f***ing jerk”, became agitated during the exchange. She then began recording both the man and the Jersey Mike’s staff, which escalated the situation even more.

According to Aydin, the man identified himself as a law professor and allegedly threatened to sue her over her “fake” jewelry if she posted the video online. Aydin fired back, saying, “Fake diamonds, b-h? If you don’t know, it’s better to ask someone. Please.”

She continued her tirade by adding: “I’m a royal celebrity, you’re an a-hole!” addressing another waiting customer.

The reality star even tagged Jersey Mike in her posts, bringing more attention to the incident. Page six reported that they have reached out to Jersey Mike’s corporate team for a statement, but there has been no official response at this time.

While hot sandwiches at Jersey Mike’s are known to take longer to cook than cold ones, it remains unclear what Aydin originally ordered for herself.

Aydin later shared a video she recorded during the altercation, which shows both the staff and the man. In the clip, she can be heard defending her jewels and insisting that they are, in fact, “real.” She also mentioned her husband, Bill Aydin, claiming he is a “doctor” as part of her defense.

Critics have pointed out that food service workers, especially older workers, often face challenges in a fast-paced environment and deserve patience and respect, not public ridicule. “YOU JUST FUCKED UP ON A GROWN MAN? You’re disgusting,” one TikToker commented.

“I feel ashamed for her children,” said another. “You can imagine a mother like her running around town talking to people like that.”

“She’s a terrible person,” said a third.

Others called the star “rude”, “disgraceful” and “disgraceful”.

The comments didn’t stop there as another social media user wrote: “It was a bad look for her, she was disrespectful.”

“Imagine making fun of a poor woman (sic) just trying to do her job at the busiest time of the year and having her worse (sic) age put her to shame. Unreal,” said another user on Instagram.

Jennifer Aydin has yet to comment on the viral video.
