Jeju Air crash black box to be sent to US for analysis, South Korea says

South Korea’s civil aviation ministry said Wednesday that a damaged flight data recorder recovered from the crash site of a Jeju Air plane in South Korea will be sent to the United States for analysis because the data cannot be recovered domestically. 179 people died as a result of the Boeing 737-800 plane crash in South Korea.
