Talking to Sun USASatterthwaite and his godmother, Dr. Lily Coley, said that before filing the lawsuit against Jay-Z, they initially tried to resolve the paternity issue by requesting a paternity test “in private.”

However, the rapper reportedly rejected the request at the time, leading them to go to court to enforce it.

The duo have now revealed the reason behind Jay-Z’s refusal, saying he was “afraid” that the paternity test would reveal that Satterthwaite’s mother was “a minor” at the time of their alleged relationship.

“Here I have to say that he is not doing this (paternity test) because of the age of Rymir’s mother… because he (Jay-Z) had two problems: first, she was (16) and then she got pregnant “, Kohli told the publication.

Adding to Cowley’s remarks, Rymir said he believed Jay-Z had “some inkling” that there might be “some truth” to the paternity claim.

He believes this caused the rapper to “brush it off” despite the fact that he had the opportunity to “address” the issue.

During the interview, Cowley discussed Jay-Z’s ongoing rape lawsuit, which names the rapper as one of the alleged perpetrators accused of sexually assaulting a minor.

She claimed that the allegations could mean a “day of reckoning” for Jay-Z’s career and the music industry as a whole.

“And that’s why you have to be careful how you treat people and what you do, because I believe you will reap what you sow,” Kohli told the publication.

Cowley also shared her belief that the latest allegations could “spill over” to their case because it “shows a larger narrative, a larger scale of what’s going on, and that it’s deep and broad.”

Satterthwaite went on to say that he is not interested in Jay-Z’s money or fame. He also expressed his willingness to have a relationship with Jay-Z if a paternity test proves their relationship.

“If it was right, you know … We can grow up and have a relationship if you want to. But if you didn’t, you know I’m still going to be the person I am,” he said.
