One notable detail of the settlement is that Lopez kept her iconic engagement ring.

The rare green diamond, surrounded by white trapezoidal diamonds, is valued at more than $5 million, and some experts believe it could be worth more than $10 million.

Affleck’s choice of a green diamond was very personal, as green is Lopez’s favorite color. He even engraved the ring with the sentimental phrase, “not.going.anywhere.”, as a sign of how he signed their emails as they rekindled their romance.

After their split, insiders revealed OK magazine that Lopez had no intention of returning the ring. “It was a gift,” the source explained. “Just because the relationship didn’t work out doesn’t mean she has to get it back.”
