iOS 18.2.1: Download the iPhone update now for some important bug fixes
Apple released iOS 18.2.1 on January 6, almost a month after the company launched iOS 18.2. While iOS 18.2 brought more Apple Intelligence features such as Genmojifor some iPhones, iOS 18.2.1 includes some important bug fixes for all iPhones. Apple recommends that everyone download the update.
You can download the update by going to Settings > General > Software Updatea pat Update now and following the on-screen instructions.

What’s in iOS 18.2.1?
Apple wrote in the description of iOS 18.2.1 that the update contains important bug fixes, but the company did not say what those fixes were.
Sometimes Apple will release an update CVE entry — common vulnerabilities and exposures — which goes into detail about patches and fixes. But the company has not published the CVE record for this update as of now.
In the past, there have been cases where Apple has not published a CVE record of an update. Apple does not publish CVE records for iOS 17.3.1, iOS 17.2.1 or iOS 17.1.1.
