Intel’s CEO and leading sales, Christoph Shell, resigned

Christoph Shell, Intel’s EVP and CEO, leaves the company in two years in the role, According to the submission of SECS

Shell informed Intel of his decision to leave on Monday and resign on June 30, “to pursue another career opportunity,” according to the submission.

It is not clear who will replace Shell. Intel did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Shell, who also heads the Intel sales, marketing and communications group, reporting directly to the Executive Director’s office, joined the company in February 2022. He was previously Chief Commercial Officer at HP; EVP in Philips growth markets; and a brand management at Procter & Gamble.

Shell’s departure comes when Intel underwent a dramatic transformation under recently appointed CEO Lip-Bu Tan. The new CEO has moved to the company’s divisions in “Incorruptible” unitssold its majority share in its Altera Semiconductor BusinessAnd he leveled the executive structure of the technology giant. He also appointed a new head of AI and plans to significantly reduce the company’s workforceS

Earlier this month, Tan mandate four days in the office for all employees (the company has previously authorized hybrid and remote work) and declared This Intel would not rotate its Intel Capital Corporate VC Arm as planned earlier.
