Indian-Belgian JV Agristo Masa announces additional investment of Rs 750 crore in Bijnor plant
Agricto Masa Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between MASA GLOBAL FOOD PVT LTD, and Belgium (Belgium Govto NV) announced that additional investments had been invested in the potato processing department.
The company aims to increase the agricultural landscape of Western Uttar Pradesh and strengthen local farmers who have already seen their income increased by 50% over the past three years.
Since July 2022, the Bijnor factory has changed the development of falsification in the region, producing production for one hectare – 32 tons per hectare – one of the highest yield in India. With this fresh investment, the total capital expenditures will exceed 1000 Crore, ensuring stable growth and livelihood opportunities for thousands of farmers. More than 2,500 farmers are expected to use the expansion, adding it to 500 who have already had a positive impact on the institution’s interventions.
Agtrro Masa encourages the farmers of Bijorori and its surrounding areas, such as Moradabad and auspament, which is known for the cultivation of sugar cultivation. Farmers by the company are given purchase options, pesticides, seeds and fertilizers.
Bijnor plant currently provides both domestic and international markets, including North America, Southeast Asia and Japan. Originally installed for potato flakes with 250 Crore, the new contribution will allow the FREE FREE PRODUCTION Line, further strengthen the factory’s output and market access.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, the chairman of the “Wave” group in the detailed Singh Chadan stressed the importance of the harvest of the farmers who are being transported by sugar and modern technologies. “We aim to protect farmers and diversify their money from sugar.
