Just ask Cowboys cheerleaders.

Dallas shortstop Brandon Aubrey was shaping up to be a regular starter when it came to his position in the league.

But Aubrey’s attempt to hit the ball downfield failed as it bounced immediately to left and a Cowboys cheerleader took it for granted.

The rest of his cheerleading squad made sure to check him out, as did punter Tress Way, who was in the area.

Siemienowski made a cheerful team in July, writes on Instagram Being part of the famous cast has been “a dream of mine for as long as I can remember.”

“This has been the most life-changing experience, but it’s only the beginning. I’m so grateful to say I’ve achieved my dreams and won my boots!”

After play resumed following the incident, the Cowboys found themselves looking to end the season on a high note, but the Chiefs had something else in mind.

Marcus Mariota, who replaced quarterback Jayden Daniels with the team’s playoff eligibility at stake, knew the potential seeds were on the line when he got the ball with more than three minutes to play in the fourth quarter.

Down by three points, Washington simply didn’t think about a game-tying field goal as Mariota found himself on 2nd-and-goal from the Dallas 5-yard line, and he threw a fade to Terry McLaurin on the sideline.

McLaurin leaped in the air, caught the ball, kept both feet in bounds and took over on the final play.

As a result, the Chiefs finished the season 12–5, although the Philadelphia Eagles won the division with a 14–3 record. But the win earned them a No. 6 seed instead of a No. 7 seed, which would have to travel to Philadelphia to face those Eagles in the wild card round.

Meanwhile, Dallas finishes the season 7-10.
