There is a large, life display, many rear cameras, battery range and Android 15 software. Throw the water resistance to the IP54 and generously six years of security updates and you really get a lot for your money.

But my favorite thing about the phone is his design. It avoids the ordinary appearance of other budget phones, instead uses open screw heads, a metal camera surrounds and, according to my model for review, delightful mint soft color. There is even a slightly movable circle on the back of the phone that allows you to attach a strap directly to it – ideal for those who like to take pictures of festivals.

Strictly speaking, the phone is called “CMF with nothing phone 2 Pro”. CMF is the confusing accessible sub-brain of an already eligible phone manufacturer. This is the second -kind CMF phone and I am still confused why nothing thinks that it has to create a separate cumbersome called brand, not just start it completely under the name. So far I have only spent a little time with the phone, but there are already a lot that I like. The design immediately stands out. He has no flashing LEDs of anything more expensive phones, but I like the appearance and feels surprisingly premium and healthy to hold on to such an affordable phone. It has an assessment of the water resistance of the IP54, which will help you protect yourself from the strange spilled drink.

AMOLED display is bright and vibrant. The colorful videos on YouTube looked good and managed to oppose the bright above ground lights of my office. It has a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz, so the game of fast games should not be a problem here.

He works on Android 15 at the base and gave him nothing the same skin as his other phones. It relies on a great monochrome aesthetics, with minimalist black -white icons and gadgets that look pretty cool (although sometimes I struggle to say exactly which application I am looking for). Nothing has been committed to six years of general security support for the phone, which is especially generous for a phone at this price. OnePlus 13, for example, also offers six years of support and this phone costs almost £ 1,000 in the UK.

Rear cameras include a basic camera of 50 megapixels, 50 megapixel telephoto camera (with 2x optical magnification) and 8 -megapixel UV. I haven’t used the cameras yet, so I can’t talk about their quality, but based on the previous CMF phone 1, I expect them to be able to take decent everyday photos, but certainly won’t be a rival for the top camera phones like iPhone 16 Pro or Galaxy S25 UltraS

I have not tested the phone yet long enough to give a final sentence, but I am impressed by it based on my early impressions. This is a strange looking phone that stands out from the budget crowd. The solid composition of the specifications and its six years of support are generous at such a low price.

I especially want to see how his cameras perform – along with the performance of the processor for daily tasks and more demanding games – but on paper, at least this phone must be able to do a fair job with both.
