I tried the new Tiktok AI generator. This is all kinds of brilliant
AI is entering a new area of social media. Tiktok on Tuesday declared The new AI Alive feature that allows creators to animate photos for tiktok stories in short videos using generative AIS The function is unfolding in the United States this week.
My experience using AI AIV was a mixed bag. The first time I tried it, it took nearly 5 minutes to generate a video, and in 2 of those minutes it continued to say that only 10 seconds were left. The results ranged from acceptable, at the best case to downright terrifying. Tittok also seems to be struggling with the persistence of the site.
These are a few videos that I did with the new Tiktok feature. In the first, I wanted to add a dog to my photo on Sunny Tibi Island in Georgia, but Tittok took the wheel and decided to make the dog fly out of nowhere, instead of using my directive in the invitation to make the dog encounter on the ground.
In another video, AI replaces existing elements, genuine. My original RAM poster has become something like a horror scene, now the pretty terrible looking beast jumps across the page-just I would instruct AI alive to animate the existing RAM and make it jump out of the poster. And I don’t know why Tiktok’s feature eventually decided to replace the original poster with strange Ai Gibberish. It was impenetrable and the final frame of the video reminds me of an advertisement for a movie for scary breakdown.
There were many strange problems throughout my testing. I think I could fix some of these mistakes with edited prompts, but you only get five attempts a day, a disappointing low limit.
The AI video model that power the new feature is made up of Tiktok, with certain elements supported by open source technology. Given that Tiktok is first and foremost a social media company, not AI developer, it makes sense to take advantage of some open source AI technologies.
Tiktok Ai Alive videos will automatically have an added label to them indicating that they are generated by AI, and as part of the Tiktok partnership with the Coalition of Origin of Content and Authenticity (C2PA), such markers will be built into the metadata of the videos.
Although the feature itself is a mech, this message tells us about what Tictock presents about its future with AI. Many social media platforms have undergone AI conversion in the last few years, no more than Instagram and Facebook with Meta AI. Tiktok launches some AI features, including avatars for professional creators and behind -the -scenes AI tools for marketers. But this is its first general -purpose feature and widely available AI. This may mark the beginning of the Tiktok AI era.
For a company that has been sunk in the fears of the years, nourishing the federal legislation, the work of the Supreme Court and Multitude To save the app online in the United States, the choice of Tiktok to immerse yourself deeper into AI is remarkable. The generative AI has its own innumerable confidential concernsAnd for image and video generators, people often raise questions about how models are trained and how they process user data. Tiktok’s Privacy Policy There is no special section for AI, but he says Tiktok can use information you give it to “improve and develop the platform and to carry out products” that can include AI models.
I am trying to imagine the main case of using this feature for the creators of Tiktok, but it is probably worth playing around to see if it can work for you. If you want to try it, here’s how to proceed:
How to Animate Your Tiktok Pictures With AI
- Open Tiktok and go to your profile. Tap the Blue Plus sign on your profile picture.
- Upload a photo or take a new photo using the camera.
- On the left side menu, tap AI alive. It is below the text option, over stickers.
- Write your prompt. Choose one of Tiktok’s suggestions for best results.
- Complete the editing of your video as you want.
- Post your story or keep it on the roller of your camera.
This is one of the best Tiktok AI videos I’ve made.
Writing a good AI prompt is the key to success. This applies to all AI images and video generators, but in my testing, Tiktok AI looks particularly sensitive. When writing a prompted, place the most important items at the beginning. You can check our full guide for Writing an effective AI image prompt For more tips.
