“I don’t think I’ll get my appetite back”

Roy Keane has sent a warning to Marcus Rashford as a Manchester United starry eyes an exit from Old Trafford. He believes that the Englishman seems to have lost his way and added that the striker is distracted.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ Stick to Football, Keane claimed a switch would do “a world of good” for Rashford as he has lost his appetite at Manchester United. He added that the striker must return to his best level.

Keane said via Metro:

“Actually, I don’t care what he said, it’s spot on. Sometimes a deal just works for everybody; it’s been a year or two. There’s obviously some talent and he’s been at the club since he was a kid. it would probably do him a lot of good, for him and his team and his family to go abroad as a footballer.”

“If you lose that hunger, it’s hard to get it back. We know for big players, it’s not about the money, it’s about the next challenge and your pride. Marcus seems to have lost his way and lost his way . We’ve mentioned the watches and all the off-field stuff, and if he’s a bit distracted by that, it might be hard to get him back with a change of club and scenery, but I don’t think he’ll get United’s appetite back.” .

Marcus Rashford was left out of Manchester United’s squad for the Manchester Derby. He has not been called up for the clash with Tottenham Carabao Cup Thursday’s quarterfinals.


Marcus Rashford hints at Manchester United exit

Marcus Rashford spoke to Henry Winter earlier this week and hinted that he was open to an exit from Manchester United. He stated that he will not leave on a bad note and that he will send a statement when the time is right.

He said:

“If I know a situation is already bad, I’m not going to make it worse. I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When I come out I’ll make a statement and it’ll be me.”

Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Marcus Rashford. Saudi Pro League teams are also keeping an eye on the star English striker.
