According to reports, the duo, who went public with their romance, often exchanged “long hugs” during intermissions. The crew reportedly found the behavior “strange” and “awkward” as the couple “didn’t even hide it”.

There has also been speculation that their romance may have coincided with their estranged marriages to actress Deborah-Leigh Furness and screenwriter Ted Griffin.
Now, an insider from the musical has revealed that Jackman and Foster did share more PDA moments than their roles required.
“During intermission, Sutton and Hugh stood and hugged for a minute, two minutes in front of all the actors coming up the stairs,” the source said. Daily Mail.

They added: “The actors had to climb four flights of stairs to get to the dressing rooms. And they would stop on Hugh’s floor and just cuddle in their suits.’

According to an insider, the co-stars didn’t care if anyone witnessed their public display of affection and partook in it “every night” during the musical’s run.
They also claimed that they found it “weird” and “uncomfortable” to see the duo behaving this way.
“As the entire cast tried to get to their dressing rooms upstairs, we all had to walk past the two of them hugging,” the source continued. “They didn’t even hide it! It was a long hug… and it was amazing.”
Despite how “strange” the behavior was, the source hinted that they never suspected the pair were romantically involved. They just assumed that Sutton always wanted a hug from Jackman because she seemed “needy.”

“I thought she was just a down-and-out actress,” the insider remarked, “that’s what I thought — a down-and-out actress who needed a hug from the great Superman.”

As part of the performance, Jackman and Foster had to “swear passionately on stage” for their characters.
An insider noted that their shared kisses remained surprisingly hot even during rehearsals.
“It was a terrible kiss,” the source said. “The music takes many bars and even in rehearsal she was very passionate. But it should be for their heroes.”
After the show ended, the pair went their separate ways as if their day was over, but ironically Foster “waited for Hugh to go to his car and then she went to her car”.
As the duo continued what appeared to be a romantic game of hide-and-seek, they often went on “double dates” with their then-husbands.
“They had lunch as husband and wife, and Sutton and her husband Ted were invited to dinner with Hugh and his wife Deborah-Lee,” the source added.

Earlier, they were spotted packing on PDAs while waiting in line at a fast food drive-thru in San Fernando.
They locked lips intensely during the event, with Foster Lovely caressing the Wolverine star’s face while wrapping his arms around her.
The pair were also seen sharing a deep kiss while sitting in the white Range Rover that Jackman drove to the location.
Before their outing, they were also photographed walking hand-in-hand while enjoying dinner in Santa Monica, California. During their date, they radiated affection, smiling lovingly at each other as they strolled down the sidewalk.
