It’s very good value for your money and on par for a Ridley Scott home entertainment release – although we do miss the days when Charles de Lauzirica directed and produced in-depth behind-the-scenes documentaries for the legendary director.

If, however, digital ownership of the film is not for you, we have good news for you. March 4, 2025 Paramount will release Gladiator II as part of a two-film collection in 4K Ultra HD and on a 4K Ultra HD SteelBook (presumably with all of the aforementioned extras). If you want to give Scott’s film the best possible presentation in your home (although he’d really like you to watch his movies in the cinema), your best bet is to wait a few months for one of these suckers.
