How to cancel iPhone subscriptions

To check that a subscription is processed outside Apple:

Free tests follow the same cancellation process:

  1. Go to Settings > Apple ID > SubscriptionsS

  2. Choose the test you want to cancel.

  3. Tap RefusalS

The test will be completed immediately if canceled and you can lose access to premium features.

If you change your mind and want to restart an canceled subscription, you can do it from the same subscription menu as long as the service is available.

  1. Open Settings > Apple ID > SubscriptionsS

  2. Scroll down to Inactive section.

  3. Tap the service you want to reactivate.

  4. Select a plan and confirm your payment.

Your subscription will resume under the current conditions and the billing cycle starts from the date you rewrite.

To lower or cancel iCloud+:

  1. Go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Storage or iCloud storageS

  2. Tap Change the storage plan > Power OptionsS

  3. Sign in if you are prompted.

  4. Select Free 5GB plan to cancel a paid plan.

The changes come into force at the end of your current billing period.

To see old subscriptions:

  1. Go to Settings > Apple ID > SubscriptionsS

  2. Scroll to Inactive or Expire Section at the bottom of the screen.

These records cannot be canceled again and are indicated only for reference. If a subscription you no longer use is indicated under “Active”, it is still charging and should be canceled manually.

  • Use reminders: Set reminders to the calendar to review subscriptions before testing or renewal occurs.

  • View billing statements: Check your monthly fees for unexpected renews.
