Hundreds of demonstrators called for an “intifada revolution” in Times Square on New Year’s Day, hours after a terrorist carrying an ISIS flag plowed through dozens of people at a New Orleans New Year’s parade.

Protesters held signs reading “Zionism is cancer,” “No war with Iran” and “Stop all US aid to Israel.” The Times of Israel reported on this.

FBI Deputy Director Christopher Raja said Thursday that investigators recovered several weapons from the crime scene and the surrounding area, including two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in coolers at the intersection of Bourbon and Orleans streets and a second intersection just two blocks away. He added that the FBI wants to speak with witnesses who may have seen the coolers with the IED inside.

From March 2007 to January 2015, Jabbar served in the army as a human resources specialist and an information technology (IT) specialist. After active duty, he served as an IT specialist in the Reserve Army from January 2015 to July 2020.

During his work, he was posted in Afghanistan from February 2009 to January 2010.

Jabbar said in Facebook videos before the attack that he had joined ISIS earlier this summer and submitted an affidavit, according to the FBI.
