Heisman winner Travis Hunter has deleted his fiancée from social media amid rumors and criticism
Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter is taking a hiatus from social media amid numerous criticisms on social media like his fiancee Leanna Lenee.
Hunter and Lenee’s Instagram accounts, which came to the fore on Sunday, have been deactivated.

What seems to have sparked an online frenzy was Lenee’s reaction after Hunter was officially named the Heisman winner last weekend.
After hugging and congratulating Hunter like everyone else in the room, some took exception to Leni sitting down. New York City stood and clapped for the double-pointed star as he greeted the others. Hunter eventually returned to Lenee, bent over and gave her a longer hug before walking off to the stage.
Later, at a meet-and-greet event, Lene’s video of her simply sitting and watching Hunter meet fans drew criticism.

It got to the point where Hunter’s longtime girlfriend, Lenee, who he proposed to in February, made a TikTok video defending their relationship. However, social media trolls continued to use the video as fuel to their fire.
For her part, Hunter took to her Twitch stream to defend her fiancé.

“I know what I’m getting,” he said. “I know my daughter. My daughter has been with me for five years. You all start talking about me and now you start being with me. Come on, man.”
Despite their attempts to get people to understand, the comments and criticism for Hunter and Lenee have continued, so it looks like they’re just getting on with it for now.
Meanwhile, Hunter prepares for what is expected to be his final college game against BYU in the Alamo Bowl. Usually players expected to be highly valued in the NFL Draft will skip bowl games, but Hunter explained why he won’t be among that crowd.
“It’s definitely important because I started this with Coach Prime, Shedeur and most of the coaches on the coaching staff, so I wanted to finish it right,” Hunter said when asked why he played Dec. 13.

Given his ability to make an impact on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and cornerback, Hunter is expected to be a top-five pick in next year’s draft.
