Hallmark star John Reardon reveals tonsil cancer diagnosis
Visiting star John Reardon it turned out that he was diagnosed with tonsil cancer.
Reardon, 49, took to Instagram on Tuesday, Dec. 24, to share a photo of him sitting in a hospital bed, writing, “Last night was my first night back from tonsil cancer. There was a long way between those two photos, and the difference in the love and support I received from the people in my life.”
The actor thanked those who supported him amid fears for health. “My amazing partner @officialmeghanory for taking on our whole world to help me get better,” Reardon wrote of his wife, the Hallmark star Megan OryWorld Health Organization starred in Hallmark’s Believe in Christmas with him last month. “My brave children who inspired me.”
Reardon – who is also known for his role in the Canadian police procedural drama Hudson and Rex – he also expressed his gratitude to his family and friends.
“My dad, who took me for a walk every day even when it was hard for me to get out of bed, and I’m sure it’s hard for him to see his son in pain. My mom @ocean__cottage made me soups, ginger honey tea and green juices so I could get calories into my body,” he continued. “My sister and brother @dr_laura_reardon @marcreardon81 who helped with the kids and the struggles of life when I couldn’t. All my relatives, who aren’t just in-laws, they’re family, who brought us food and cookies and talked us through our problems.”
He continued: “Our nanny, our neighbors and everyone who sent food, love and support, messages and kind words, and all the wonderful doctors, nurses, technicians, hospital workers, psychologists, you are all my heroes and I thank you from with all my heart. my heart.”

After battling cancer, Reardon shared some words of wisdom with them celebration of holidaysconcluding, “Kindness is an underrated quality in people. We should never underestimate this. Celebrate it and spread it as much as you can. It’s free and life-changing. Happy holiday 🫶🏻”.
Reardon’s wife, Ori, posted the photo on her Instagram Stories and included the sweet reply.
“This man inspires me every day with his strength, his kindness and his love that never wavered even when he was in excruciating pain. You are my hero,” she wrote. “So proud of you @johnny_reardon_. And #cancerfree, I love you, love you, love you.”
In the comments section of his post, Reardon received an outpouring of support from fellow actors.
Louise d’Oliviera wished Reardon a speedy recovery, writing: “Wow, I’m so sorry to hear that! So glad you’re on the other side. Love and strength to you and your family ❤️”.
