Gamescom Latam Big Festival Awards launches with Lifetime Award for Shu Yoshida

The Gamescom Latam Big Festival 2025 Awards launched today in Sao Paulo, Brazil, starting with a lifelong achievement award for life for Pu YoshidaWho supports India in Sony’s PlayStation Division over his decades to work at the company.

Rodrigo Terra, CEO of Abram Games, the Brazilian Game Association, presented the Yoshida Award, which will make a chat with me at Gamescom Latam on Thursday night in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The winner of the best art was NAIAD, developing Elwin in Hiwarp.

The winner of the innovation was Salt Casto, Zheraud Zuquini and Harionpiralle from the Goblinz Publishing House in France.

The winner of the best multiplayer was Bang Bang Garrage by Monkey Bread/Spiral Up Games in China. It is made by a team of two people.

The best story went to Neva by Nomada Studio, published by Devolver Digital.

The best XR/VR went to Sugar Mess – let’s play Jolly Battle from Jollyco in the US

The winner of the best gameplay went to Animal Well, from shared memory and published by Bigmode in the United States, it was made by Solo Game Dev Billy Basso.

The best game for Latin America went to Grizzly Man, created by LCB Game Studio in Argentina.

The best game for Brazil went to Mullet Madjack from Hammer 95 Studios and published by Epopeia Games. The studio has been making games for over 10 years. The game has been a list of 500,000 times desired and has so far sold more than 200,000 pieces.

“Brazil makes excellent games,” the winner said.
