Frozen taquitos recalled from ALDI may contain metal, chain says

ALDI is recalling some frozen taquitos after reports surfaced that the product contained a “potential foreign substance,” the company said this week.
It chain of discount supermarkets announced the recall on Monday. ALDI said in a statement that Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos may contain metal.
The recall affects 20 oz. Boxes of Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos with UPC code 4061459337471. The expiration dates for the recalled products are 07/25 and 9/25/25.
Product distributed at ALDI locations in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Washington, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota. , New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the recall after receiving “consumer complaints” about metal wire being placed in chicken tenders and tenders.
