French banks make millions from fossil fuel investments that pollute the Amazon basin

French banking groups Credit Agricole, BNP Paribas and BPCE are wary of investing in the oil and gas industry accused of polluting the Amazon basin despite environmental pledges. A study by Disclose in partnership with FRANCE 24 and RFI shows that banks are reaping huge returns from these investments.
