Ford, Stellantis, General Motors get 1-month Trump tariff exemption: White House
President Donald Trump received a one-month tariff exception to Stelstis, Ford and General Engagement, the White House said on Wednesday.

“Mutual tariffs will come into force on April 2, but at the request of USMCA companies, the president releases them in one month so that they do not have unfavorable economic,” Levit said.
He told reporters that Steltis, Ford and General Engines were companies he spoke to.

In the middle of February, Trump signed an executive order, which imposed mutual tariffs on US commercial partners, effectively increasing the import of America’s exports.

The Trump’s Administration aims to complete his trade review by April 1 and plans to correct what is called to call the highest tariff interest rates on US goods first.
Presidential tariffs will meet higher tariffs for higher tariffs and aim to counter other trade barriers such as overloaded regulations, value taxes, state subsidies and exchange rate distribution policy and negotiations with some countries.
