Flavor Flav Raises Funds for Black Families Affected by Los Angeles Wildfires

Flavor Flav helping victims of the wildfires in Los Angeles and investing in black families. On January 20th, the New York native asked his fans to turn up LA! He’s announced a partnership with GoFundMe and the Black Music Action Coalition to get help ASAP!

Everything Flavor Flav had to say about the Wildfires fundraiser

In the caption of his video, Flav also called for “EVERYONE to come together” to help, not just black artists, musicians and creatives. He added a link to the fundraiser in his bio. According to PEOPLEthe artist’s efforts will encompass black families displaced by the Ethan fire from the Altadena and Pasadena areas.

“Come on, let’s make Los Angeles strong… And let’s help those who need it. Join your boy Flavor in this campaign,” he added.

GoFundMe commented on Flavor Flav’s post, writing: “Always use your platform to help others.” Other comments from fans included prayers, flames and red hearts. As of press time, he has raised $55,161 of his $100,000 goal with help from Community Aid Dena, AFROPUNK and WalkGood LA.
