The Oscar 2025 will celebrate and honor the best films and performances of the year, as well as those affected by wildfires continue in Los Angeles.

The 97th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 2 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. “Furthermore, as we want to be attentive to the region’s infrastructure and housing needs over the next few weeks, it is critical that we make some changes to our schedule of events that we believe will have the support of our industry,” the statement continued. “Our members always share how important it is for us to come together as a community and we are determined to use this opportunity to celebrate our sustainable and compassionate industry. We also look forward to honoring our frontline workers who have helped to tackle the fires, recognizing those affected and encouraging people to join the Academy in supporting the relief effort.”

How is the Oscars different from other award ceremonies?
