everything, herebut it was a largely off year for Galaxy hardware, barring a significantly more powerful chip.

While the Galaxy S25 Ultra et al. Not to get excited, Samsung managed to tease a few devices without a launch date. First, during its event in San Jose, the company revealed its mixed reality headset in person, finally – even if it’s just a featureless headset for photos and keeps.

Then there was the Galaxy S25 Edge, a device I didn’t think existed. (And something that wasn’t shown at my satellite event in London—we got a minor activation of the projection mapping brand in London’s River Thames. Boo.)

Similar Galaxy S25 Edge. It’s slim, has two cameras and … that’s all we know. Bloomberg The reports will cost less than the S25 Ultra when it arrives later this year.

And then there’s the mysterious teaser for some possible doppelgänger – check out the screenshot above. It would be a foldable gig, like devices we’ve seen from Huawei. Samsung is teasing display tech backwards at CES 2022 and subsequent commercial events. Is it ready now?

Will the company’s foldables become Samsung’s new home for hardware innovation? Is the Galaxy Fold series now really the new Note Galaxy Note?
