Eni, Total Energies sign deal to bring Cypriot gas to Europe via Egypt

Eni, General Energy, Egyptian and Cypriot ministers signed a host government agreement (HGA) Cymptus Cymptom for 6 resources.

Cronos gas was found in 2022 and was rated in 2024. Block 6, where the discovery has been found, it also has possible resources to study and evaluate Zeus’s detection in 2022.

Eni has been activated in Cyprus since 2013, operating block 6 at a 50% interest rate and the existing block to participate in the 7th and 11th block.
