Driving in spring weather-bionicoldguy
We were lucky that we had nice weather since our last series of rain storms. It was cool, but bright and sunny. These are the beautiful conditions to be used. Last Tuesday, my group took place southwest of Morgan, on a daily road and then at the end of Redwood Retreat Road and across the hill on the Sycamore Road on the way back. Great ride, but I forgot to charge one of my batteries. So I had to treat my individual battery and use it mostly to keep up with the group on the hills. It was only the performance of the legs on the apartments and slopes. It was a brisk challenge for me, but still pleasant. Normally, Tuesday is considered an easy ride, but I reclassified it as a difficult day!
Then I had three days easier to ride, and Thursday was also strength training. Then on Saturday I went to a hard ride 2:45 hours with intervals and sprints worthy at the end. Then I was tired, but I recovered nicely. I can get away with two hard rides and two upper body training a week and still bounce. Yesterday was an easy regenerative ride of 75 minutes, very relaxing. I plan to enjoy it until the rain returns, which looks like early March.
