Doomsday combines the original X-Men of FOX
Marvel has just announced his first X-Men movie. Type Together with the complex announcement message for Avengers: Judgment DayMarvel revealed that several stars of the original fox X-men The series are back, probably like their original characters. Have Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Rebecca Romijn, Alan Cumming, And Kelsey Grammar, for starters.
The cast is still coming and we will add more names when they are discovered. But we think it is safe to assume that they play Professor X, Magnito, Cyclop, Mystic, Deloler and Beast.
This is compelling for a bunch of reasons. The first is that there are two discounts on the X-Men. There are those of the original from 2000, X-menand those of the restart/background in 2011, X-MEN: First classS Of course, they gathered in the next movie, but if you had to choose which cast would transfer to MCU, you would guess the younger. Despite Dr. Strange in the Multifice of Madness and Wonders.
Then there is also the question of what storytelling role these characters will play in Avengers a movie. They are not avengers. They are X-men. Could they just be sacrificed lambs, so Dr. Dum, played by Robert Downey Jr., can he prove his superiority? Will all these actors come back just to be killed?
It is clear that we do not know. We also do not know if the heroes that appear in The court day are the same X-men from this universe. Deadpool & Wolverine, The actual first X-Men movie in MCU has made it clear that there are many versions of all these characters. And with the revealing that Channing Tatum comes back as Gambit, we know it’s part of it. So, potentially, these are completely new. Or maybe they’re not even these characters.
However, it is very exciting for the long -time fans of the superhero movie to see these names pop up. The fox universe has got some chance of closing in the past but returns for Avengers The movie feels like a whole new level.
