DOJ to investigate state or local officials who obstruct immigration enforcement: memo

According to a new memo obtained by Fox News, the Justice Department is asking federal prosecutors across the country to investigate state or local officials who obstruct immigration enforcement under President Trump’s new administration.

“The Department of Justice Trump’s former defense attorney, Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove must and must work to eliminate these threats.” Implement the policies that the American people elected President Trump to implement.”

The memorandum continued: “The responsibility proudly shouldered by every employee of the Department of Justice includes aggressively enforcing laws passed by Congress, as well as vigorously defending the President’s actions on behalf of the United States against legal challenges.
