The film tells about the true story of Bernie Tide (Black), a gentle man from Carthage, Texas, known for his soft behavior and civic generosity. Indeed, the margers are making Bernie with his financial managers and the only heir (which makes some assume that Bernie-Golden), but she remains gloomy to him and makes more difficult requirements. For his part, Bernie is trying to remain calm, but Mary continues to press the buttons, causing Bernie that he is trapped.
