Demi Moore relishes ’80s reunion with Rob Lowe

“About last (Saturday) night with @roblowe 😉,” Moore, 62, wrote via Instagram on Friday, December 20. “80’s Reunion to wrap up 2024 – thanks Rob for presenting our show @trythesubstance! Grateful for the past, the present and what is yet to come ♥️.”
Moore shared footage of the moment Lowe, 60, joined her at a screening of the film on December 14 Substance in Beverly Hills, California. They even posed with Moore’s favorite dog, Plav.
Taking questions from fans, Moore asked for “a little extra time” to reflect on her favorite movie when Lowe suddenly jumped up from his seat in the crowd.
“I’ll help you with that,” he quipped, stepping on stage to hug her and plant a kiss on the side of her head. “About last night!“
She replied, “Ladies and gentlemen, special guest: Mr. Rob Lowe.”
Moore and Lowe starred in 1985 St. Elmo’s Fire and About last night next year.

He further noted: “I think that the topic St. Elmo’s Fire today is that it is never too late for happiness. You know, because our kids aren’t in school and maybe some of us are divorced … all the things that you come across at our age are opportunities to explore these themes with characters that people know and love. »
According to Lowe, he hopes that the same team can make the next film.
“I really think there’s something to be said for why we’re doing it, and I’m really excited about it,” he quipped.
