Day of the Devs will return to SF in March for the GDC 2025 event

The Developers Day The Indie Game Show returns to San Francisco in March for an event during Game Developers Conference 2025.

The San Francisco edition will feature a number of new indie games on Sunday, March 16 at The Midway. The goal is to bring together thousands of indie fans and developers to play over 60 hand-picked titles. The event will feature music, food and surprises – all for free, at no cost to developers or attendees.

More details about the event can be found at Eventbrite page here Developer submissions are open from now until February 3rd here. The team is looking for unique, diverse and beautiful indie games. It considers all genres, and developers from a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Continuing the entertainment week, Day of The Devs returns to the Moscone Center with Day of the Devs: GDC Edition to showcase a smaller selection of titles. These games will be handpicked from the Day of the Devs: San Francisco Edition event.

Those attending GDC in San Francisco can stop by the West Hall during open hours to get hands-on time with 12 unreleased games. They can also chat with some of the creators. Additionally, audience members over the age of 18 can also stop by on Monday, March 17, 2025. and Thursday, March 20, 2025. These events will run from 6:30 p.m. Pacific until 10:00 p.m. and fans can get a chance to check out the games for themselves via GDC Nights program.

Day of the Devs is a non-profit organization with a mission to celebrate the creativity, diversity and magic of video games. Day of the Devs gives voice to emerging or underrepresented talent with platforms that connect players with developers and their games.

Developer Day takes the form of virtual and physical events – all completely free, with no cost to developers or attendees. Over the past 13 years, Day of the Devs has shined a light on many hundreds of games, hosted tens of thousands of people at in-person events, and reached millions of viewers through virtual showcases.
