During his return to Saturday Night Live, the comedian joked that it was because he was “ugly.” However, he later offered an alternative explanation, suggesting that it might have been due to his “whistleblower energy”.

Dave Chappelle also touched on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ current legal troubles, saying he’s “never seen anything like it.”

Chappelle’s return to Saturday Night Live saw him drop a number of cheeky jokes, including why he was never invited to Diddy’s infamously hedonistic parties.

In a joke that left many on edge, the comedian claimed that his unattractive appearance made him ineligible for an invite, unlike other Hollywood stars who have been linked to the soirees.

Chappelle added: “I thought about it, I said, oh my god… I’m ugly. Everyone in Hollywood was having an orgy behind your back and none of you called me? It really hurts!”

In true Chappelle fashion, he turned the joke on its head, quipping that it wasn’t because he was ugly, but rather his “sniff energy” that kept Diddy from asking him out.

According to Daily Mailthe stand-up comic further remarked, “I look like I’m going to say. The last thing you want to see at an orgy is me looking at you.’

Comedian says Diddy is in ‘huge trouble’

During the monologue, Chappelle also touched on the challenges Diddy is facing with sex-crime allegations, saying that he believes the situation is unprecedented.

He said: “I’ve been in trouble in my time, but let me tell you, this guy, Puffy… this guy, Puffy, is in massive trouble, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it. They keep this guy in the RICO case!”

Diddy is currently charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation for the purpose of prostitution, all of which are felonies that could potentially lead to life in prison for the rapper.

His charges related to his “freak sprees,” which were described as drug-fueled sex parties that were recorded electronically by the rapper and involved female victims he forced to attend.

He remains the only person charged in connection with the case, despite some celebrities believed to have been involved in his hedonistic nights out.

Diddy’s attorneys, Mark Anifilo and Tenny Geragos, recently denied allegations by federal prosecutors that the women in the rapper’s “freak” outfits were victims of drugged and kidnapped women for sex.

This comes after the duo were allowed to view nine videos of hedonistic parties between November 20 and December 13, 2024, under law enforcement surveillance.

The videos are believed to have been seized from the battle rapper when authorities raided his home last year.

According to Didi’s lawyers, contrary to the prosecution’s claims, these videos prove the rapper’s “innocence” because the participants were “full consenting adults.”

“Contrary to what the government has led the court and the public to believe, the so-called ‘freaks’ were private sexual activity between consenting adults in a long-term relationship,” the author said in a statement. ABC News.

Didi has denied all the charges brought against him and intends to prove his innocence in court. The trial is scheduled for May this year, the next hearing will be held in April.

After his arrest in September 2024, the music mogul repeatedly tried to get bail, but was blocked three times.

Having been denied bail, he was deemed a flight risk with additional concerns about his potential to intimidate witnesses involved in the case.

Didi also faced numerous civil sexual assault and harassment lawsuits filed by alleged victims. He denied the allegations and made several statements in which he claimed he had never assaulted anyone.

He remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, pending trial.

A new Peacock documentary, Diddy: Becoming a Bad Boy, captures a situation where one of Diddy’s close friends claims his mom, Janice Combs, threw parties throughout his young life that “weakened” his sense of sex .

The documentary also contains other accusations from several individuals, such as a childhood friend, a former bodyguard and a Making the Band winner.

Didi’s lawyer has since shot down the allegations, noting that “the documentaries include unverified allegations and provide a platform for baseless conspiracy theories without accountability or evidence.”

They added: “In the case of the Peacock documentary in particular, the motivations and credibility of those being interviewed must be questioned. Many claim knowledge but have no connection to the truth, while their wild, unsubstantiated theories are trimmed and sensationalized to appear factual.’
