Cruise line offers unlimited passage for $120,000 – you can pay with bitcoin

The Cruises continue to be in demand rise and found a unique way for Virgin Voyages make travelers choose them.

In December, the adults-only cruise line launched an unlimited cruise ticket for 2025 with a base fare of $120,000. With this pass, travelers can board any ship at any time, from any place – for the entire calendar year.

“We are offering an opportunity for adventure that has never been seen before on a cruise,” Virgin Group founder Richard Branson said in a press release shared with CNBC Make It.

The Pass can be purchased for a start date of January 1, February 1, March 1, or April 1 and is valid for a full year after that date. Passengers still have to pay taxes and fees for the cruises they book.

Virgin Voyages also announced that the annual pass can be purchased with bitcoin.

Travelers can board any of the three Virgin ships currently sailing and the fourth ship, Brilliant Lady, due to launch in September 2025.

Annual passes allow holders to reserve a Sea Terrace Cabin with balcony and iconic red hammock. Other perks include complimentary laundry, $100 bar credit per voyage, unlimited premium Wi-Fi, priority boarding and exclusive onboard events and experiences.

As a bonus, annual passholders can add an extra to their cabin and change that person throughout the year.

The transition will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Travelers must be 21 years of age and book tickets on request through Virgin’s.Contact us” page until March 31, 2025. Travel consultants who sell the annual pass will earn a $10,000 commission.

In addition to the annual pass, Virgin Voyages offers unlimited seasonal pass. This pass allows travelers to embark on 24- to 40-night cruises starting at $14,999 for two travelers.
