Coreweave acquires AI Developer Platform Weights and Biases
Supported by NVIDIA Data Centers Company Coreweave has acquired AI developer platform Weights and bias for an undisclosed amount.
According to the informationCoreweave spends $ 1.7 billion on the transaction. Weights and bias were estimated at $ 1.25 billion in 2023 and recently filed an IPO.
Lukas Biewald, Chris Van Pelt and Shawn Lewis founded weights and bias in 2017 to create tools to develop AI apps. Today, over 1400 organizations, including Astrazeneca and NVIDIA, use the tools of startups as their training system for training and fine settings of AI models.
Coreweave says the acquisition will allow it to provide cloud services and infrastructure clients with a “powerful work process for the development of applications to accelerate AI road cards and to derive market innovations.”
