Christine Brown daughter Isabel Brown isn’t completely sold on David Woolley despite her mom’s happiness.

How Christina prepared for her big day, her 21-year-old daughter, Isabel Brownreflected on her feelings about her mom’s stormy engagement. During the conversation with Christina, Isabel remembered the moment when she realized that David was really the right person for her mother.

“We were out of town and he looked at you and said, ‘Oh, I love you so much.'” Isabel said. “Like, just honest and clean. And I’ve never heard someone tell you “I love you” so hard.

Christine Brown smiled Isabel heartfelt words, but her daughter shared a more nuanced perspective in the confessional.

“When David the first time I proposed to my mom, I thought it would be very quick. I thought it was too soon.” Isabel confessed. “But I think I’ve had time to adjust to it.”

Christine relationship with David came after her spiritual marriage with Cody Brown ended after more than 25 years. Both announced their separation in November 2021, and Cody relationship with Janelle Brown and Mary Brown soon dissolved. Cody remains legally married Robin Brown.

After her, he separated from Cody, Christina went public with David in February 2023, and two months later the couple got engaged. They exchanged vows in October 2023 in a ceremony that Christina described as a dream come true.

When the time has come Christina to walk down the aisle, she was escorted by her son Pedon. Reflecting on the moment, Christine shared in a confessional, “I said (to him), ‘Should I be nervous?’ I’m not even nervous. Then we started walking and I just looked at David and it was like, “There’s my heart.”

Pedon, visibly moved, walked alongside his mom, voicing his approval of her new husband. “He’s a really nice person,” Paddon said Christina before handing her over to her father, Rex, who accompanied her the rest of the way to the altar.

Isabelle celebrates her mom’s happiness

How Christine the wedding ceremony took place in Utah, Isabel described how her initial reservations faded over time. Watching her mom find happiness with David opened up a new perspective on their relationship.

“It gave me a lot more clarity to see how, for example, they love each other,” Isabelle said. “I’m just happy and excited for them.”

She added: “I think I’ve had time to get to know David and get to know him as a father and as a person who’s just a great guy. I couldn’t imagine life without him now.”

A celebration of family and support

Christine the children weren’t the only ones celebrating her new beginning. Janelle Brown the children also joined in the celebration, creating a rare moment of togetherness for the extended family.

“For the first time in a long time, it felt like the real Brown family was back,” said Gabe, Janelle a son whose relationship with Cody has been strained in recent years.

Even Cody weighed in on Christine new chapter, expressing mixed emotions but ultimately showing support for his ex-wife’s happiness. “It’s really where I’m at Christine happy and it’s great,” he shared, although he admitted to feeling “FOMO” about not being a part of the wedding day.
