Pop star went to Instagram on Wednesday, December 18, to celebrate her 44th birthday with a topless portrait. In the black and white shot, Aguilera strikes a sultry pose as she crouches on the floor with her side to the camera, her platinum blonde locks touching her bare shoulders. She wears a black leather newsboy cap, black short shorts, strappy shoes and dramatic make-up.
“Birthday suit #44,” Aguilera captioned her post.
Naturally, her fans went wild in the comments section.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEGENDTINA, BEST SINGER IN THIS WORLD,” one fan shouted.
Another wrote: “I am getting older in years, but I look younger!!!!”
Aguilera, who won five Grammys during her Y2K heyday, wrapped up a nine-month residency in Vegas in August. Three months later she performed an unexpected duet with Sabrina Carpenter during the Platnitsky st Short N Sweet Tour. concert in Los Angeles.
At the time, Aguilera entered the venue in a black bustier and silver over-the-knee boots, belting out the vocal riff that opened “Ain’t No Other Man.” Carpenter, 25, later joined her in the center to complete the number, on social media personnel. They also sang Aguilera’s “What a Girl Wants.”
In November, Aguilera shared a rare picture her family of four through Instagram. The “Genie in a Bottle” singer posed with her fiance, Matthew Rutlerand her two children, son Max, 16, and daughter Summer, 10. (Aguilera welcomed Max with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman in 2008 and shares a summer with Rattler, 39.)
“The other day on the way to school with her dad, (Summer) said, ‘When I grow up, I want to be either my mom’s photographer or my mom’s manager.’ It’s so funny,” Aguilera said Fashion earlier this year. “That’s what we said Will.i.am that (when he came to see the show) and he said, “Oh my God, she’s your daughter.” So daughter is the word of the year. It’s so sweet.’
Aguilera talked about her journey with motherhood in an interview The high life in 2019, explaining how she balances family and career to create a stable life for their children.
“I made the decision not to tour for a while because I thought it was best to create a more stable, routine life for my children,” she said at the time. “Even though I took a seat on (Voice), it wasn’t something I wanted to do. I just decided, “This keeps me in Los Angeles and in a place where I can focus on my kids.”
She added: “Everything I decide to do has been influenced by (my children), but at the same time I have to make sure I don’t lose myself and that I always stay grounded in what’s important to me.”
