Christina Aguilera kicks off the new year with a powerful reminder of self-worth amid lingering Ozempic rumors.
On Tuesday, the Grammy Award-winning singer shared a video montage on Instagram of herself from the past year, along with a series of critical comments from internet users questioning her appearance and speculating about her possible use of Ozempic.
In the caption, Christina Aguilera gave a clear message to her 10 million followers, stressing that while a trial is inevitable, “nobody deserves an explanation.”

Despite the online criticism, Aguilera has learned to prioritize self-love and feel confident by being comfortable in her own skin.
“I’m doing something a little different this year,” she began. “This is a reminder to everyone that you are the RULER of your OWN LIFE. No one else can dictate who you are. No one deserves an explanation.”
“I’m mature enough to know that nothing comes easy and nobody’s perfect,” she continued. “Everyone will judge you. No matter WHAT you do. And/or what you don’t do. Acceptance comes with accepting yourself first. And the tough road it sometimes takes to get there.”

The “Genie In A Bottle” singer recently became the target of online criticism and shaming after undergoing body modifications. Despite ongoing online debate and speculation about whether the “Beautiful” singer has been taking medication, Aguilera has not directly responded to the rumors.
For context, Ozempic is an injectable semaglutide originally approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. However, it has attracted widespread attention due to its off-label use as a weight-loss drug along with similar drugs on the market.

“I’m mature now that I don’t care what you think,” she said Glamour earlier this year. “I’m not going to take it upon myself. It should be your responsibility to take your place. Other people’s opinion about me is none of my business.’
