Chinese competes against people in Beijing semi-marathon

Robots were with people in the Yizhuang half marathon on Saturday.

Twenty-one humanoid robots developed by Chinese manufacturers, slopes, turning and uneven surfaces competed with thousands of runners with a course of 21 km (13 miles).

Some robots finished the race, others struggled from the beginning. A robot fell on the starting line and took a few minutes before stopping.

The robots are the first time they competed in the marathons in China in the past, this is the first time they competed against people during the half marathon.
