Centerpoint Energy is a gas and electric company, about seven million customers. It has distribution and electric transmission, distribution and small generation actions. The company is concentrated in a rich gas texas and has regulated the electrical service in Texas and Ohio, but serves customers in Indiana, Louisiana, Minnesota and Indiana. The regulated gas service is located, MN, OH and TX. Indiana’s program has a relatively small generation capacity about 1.3 GW. CNP has only 4.7 GW total energy products. Its fuel mixture remains largely depends on fossil fuels, almost 85% of its Indiana generation.
