Celebrities who talked about Ozempic for weight loss

Ozempic has become a hot topic when it comes to weight loss — some stars confirmed that they used the drug, while others denied it.

Chelsea Handler recognized during an episode in January 2023 the Call Her Dad podcast. that she was unknowingly taking type 2 diabetes medications traditionally used to improve glycemic control. She explained that her antiaging doctor prescribed semaglutide, which is another name for Ozempic, but Handler stopped using it after learning more.

“I don’t do it anymore. It’s too irresponsible,” Handler clarified. “I’m an irresponsible drug user, but I’m not going to take diabetes medication.”

Kyle Richardsmeanwhile, was accused of using diabetes medication in January 2023 after publishing a photo of her showing off her abs in a swimsuit. “I do NOT take Ozempic. Never,” Richards commented on Page Six’s Instagram at the time.
