Influencer and socialite Candace Miller she is reported to be selling her belongings after her husband’s death Brandon Miller left her with millions of dollars in debt.

Influencer Candice Miller is reportedly in debt following the death of her husband Brandon Miller earlier this year. Candice, 42, recently filed documents obtained by The New York Times on Friday, Dec. 27, alleging that Brandon was $33.6 million in debt when he died in July. Neither Candace nor Brandon are named in the auction, and it is scheduled to close on Tuesday, January 7.

Brandon, a well-known financier, committed suicide in July 2024 at the age of 43. He is survived by his wife, Candace, who used to run the lifestyle blog Mama & Tata, and two children.

“Candice is devastated by the loss of her soulmate, and the lives of her two young daughters have been forever affected by the lives of their beloved dad.” A family representative said in a statement at the time.

Two months later, Candace was there sued for $195,000 in unpaid rent in their Manhattan apartment. In court documents received by Us WeeklyCandice was accused of not paying the monthly expenses. Late last month, Candice’s attorneys filed a new response, arguing that she should not be involved in the case because her name was never on the apartment’s lease.

According to The New York TimesCandice too stated in court documents from December 2024 that Brandon was $33.6 million in debt at the time of his death. She claimed she only had $8,000 in her bank account and could not repay his loans afterward. The Times it was further reported that Candice also benefited from Brandon’s $15 million life insurance policies and sold their shared home earlier that month.

Candice claimed in the documents that she was unaware of Brandon’s financial situation before his death. She has not addressed the legal battle publicly.
