Cameron Diaz shares a bold conspiracy theory about “President” Elon Musk
The 52-year-old actress, who was once rumored to have dated the tech mogul, appeared to be joking with him, citing his relentless pursuit of making a trip to Mars a reality.
It comes as Cameron Diaz returns to the spotlight after a long absence from Hollywood to focus on her personal life.

Cameron Diaz criticized Elon Musk in her conspiracy theory

While promoting her Fox action comedy recently, Diaz showed off her funny side, leaving her Back in Action co-star visibly stunned.
According to Daily MailFox asked Diaz to share her GOAT, or Greatest of All Time, conspiracy theory, prompting the actress to drop a rather elaborate extraterrestrial tale starring boyfriend Elon Musk.
“All the alien descriptions are always the same,” Diaz began, before adding that these aliens had “big heads, big eyes, no mouth. Telepathically speaking, long fingers, nimble.’
She added: “If you think about where we are in technology right now, we’re sitting in front of a screen. We don’t talk to each other. We don’t need to talk.”

At this point in her story, Diaz mentioned Musk, mockingly calling him “the president.”
“And we all know we’re leaving the planet because now Elon Musk is our president,” she continued. “When we get to Mars, we’re really going to be a completely different species.”
In response to the story, Foxx told Diaz that it “surprised” him, appearing to express how shocked he was by her wild conspiracy theory.

The actress returned to the Red Carpet after a five-year break

In recent weeks, the duo have been making appearances together to promote their film, which debuts on Netflix on January 17.
Diaz and Fox reunited at the film’s premiere in Berlin, marking Diaz’s first red carpet appearance in five years.
The actress last appeared on the red carpet in 2019, alongside Demi Moore and Drew Barrymore, when Lucy Liu was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
At the event, Diaz looked stunning in a unique look that consisted of a black top with a sheer black blouse and high-waisted jeans. She completed the outfit with a long black coat and classic penny loafers.
The actress also posed for a photo with Fox, who was dressed in a suit with white and black stripes around the edges.

Cameron Diaz says Jamie Foxx inspired her to come out of retirement

Before starring in Back In Action, Diaz had been away from Hollywood, retiring from the industry more than a decade ago.
In a recent interview with Empireshe revealed how her ‘Back in Action’ co-star inspired her to take a hiatus.
“I thought if I was going to go back and do a movie, the only person I was going to go back and do it with was this guy,” said Diaz, who starred with Fox in the classic Annie.
She added: “Seriously. I had other opportunities along the way, and I always said, “No. I’m not doing this, I told you… What? Jamie asked? Jamie? Oh, I can do a movie with Jamie!”

The actress does not decide on new roles

While fans are gearing up to see Diaz in Back in Action, which debuts on Netflix, the actress has not decided to commit to any new acting projects in the near future.
“I don’t know how I look at it. It’s hard to say,” Diaz said Empire. “If I say it, it becomes that thing. I reserve the right to say no to doing a film ever again, and I reserve the right to say yes if I choose to.”
She added: “I’m not defining anything. I’m just open to whatever makes sense for me and my family at any given time.”
After decades in the Hollywood spotlight, Diaz took a break to focus on her family. She has two children, daughter Reddix and son Cardinal, with her husband Benji Madden.

In an interview with her brother-in-law Joel Madden on his “Artist Friendly” podcast, Diaz opened up about her marriage, citing “therapy” as a key factor in the strength of her nine-year union with Benji Madden.
Diaz said, “It’s something we depend on, so you have an obligation to work on it.” She noted that the therapy prevents her and Benji from doing “the same thing over and over again.”
According to Daily Mailthe actress added that therapy encourages her and her husband to ask, “Why didn’t it work? How can I make it work? What is my role? What is the other person’s job?”
Diaz also emphasized how therapy has taught them to be more “self-aware” and “a little more prepared to hopefully come out with a different outcome.”

The “Charlie’s Angels” star explained, “(It helps us) either solve something or co-create a new understanding of a new process.”
