“Breaking Bad” aired on AMC for five seasons between 2008 and 2013, and even though the show ended more than a decade ago, fans continue to visit the famous home, much to the chagrin of its current owner, Joan Quintana.
In a recent interview with Albuquerque’s KOB-TV, Quintana admitted that at first they didn’t mind the visits from fans, but the meetings soon became too much.After his parents died, he and his brothers decided to sell the house.
“This has been our family’s home since 1973. So we’re going to leave with just our memories. We’re done. There’s no reason to fight anymore,” Quintana explained.
While filming the hit show, the Quintana family became close with the cast and crew. Speaking to the station, Quintana shared some behind-the-scenes secrets, including how her mom, Fran, always baked cookies for everyone on set.

“The funny thing was, Bryan Cranston couldn’t eat any cookies on the show, so he was losing weight, but everyone, all the writers, would eat the cookies on the last day of filming he’s taking a picture of my mom holding a biscotti because he finally got to eat her cookies,” he shared.
