Johnson took to the comments section of an Instagram post about the news from The New York Times express your true feelings about the situation.
“Her complaints were filed during filming. On the record. Long before the public conflict. The cast stopped following him (Baldoni) for a reason,” he said. “His PR team was stellar. Rude and disgusting, but very effective. Read the article, their text message exchange, and his PR campaign’s strategy to bury her by any means necessary. No one is without (yes) flaws. But the audience played along.”

He later admitted that “certainly mistakes were made” on Lively’s part: “Just imagine being a stay-at-home mom, raising 4 kids, married to the busiest man in Hollywood, and at the same time being a boss girl running multiple companies , while writing, producing, managing non-profits, and working 16+ hours a day from home so you can be with your kids.”
“Launching 2 new businesses that you’ve been working on/developing for years (launch planned by the distributors, not you btw) while being attacked by a VERY expensive PR firm because you filed a sexual harassment claim for that the very film you need to go out and promote in the right tone or you will be set up!?” he added in his comment.

The actor then turned to repeated interviews where Blake Lively seemed to respond to the interviewer dismissively or impolitely.
“But yeah, let’s make it known from the couch how much we hate her for her mistakes. It makes sense,” he said. “I mean, she was rude in these interviews that were magically replayed. I saw it. None of us have ever been wrong or wrong. never. We have to give up decades of good for those few bad moments. I’m glad that the microscope is not with me every day.”

The lawsuit includes allegations of sexual harassment, negligence, interference with future economic benefits, intentional infliction of emotional distress and more.

Lively’s legal team is also claiming retaliation, alleging that Baldoni and WayFarer Studios “engaged in an elaborate press and digital plan in retaliation for Ms. Lively exercising her legally protected right to speak out about their misconduct on set with with an additional purpose: to intimidate her and anyone else from revealing publicly what really happened,” it says in the statement.
The lawsuit also reveals a “Script Planning Document” allegedly sent by Baldoni’s hired crisis management team to WayFarer Studios head Steve Heath and others. The document reportedly outlined three potential strategies Lively’s team could pursue and detailed how Baldoni’s team should respond if she goes public with her grievances.
Lively’s attorney alleges that the document was distributed on August 2, 2024 by Baldoni’s public relations manager, Melissa Nathan, with the intent to promote “misleading counter-narratives.”

In a repeat interview, Justin Baldoni has openly admitted that he struggled with an “unhealthy” relationship with pornography – a revelation that has drawn renewed attention in light of Blake Lively’s sexual harassment allegations against him.
“I was introduced to porn when I was 10 years old. Long before I could, you know, get an erection or even know what I was about,” he said on a July 2021 episode of Sarah Greenberg’s A Life of Greatest podcast. “It was, you know, like any young boy seeing boobs for the first time, it’s exciting because our culture has kept them away from us because they’re sexualized. It is cultural.”
“You go to places like Africa and different tribes … and breasts are breasts,” he added. “We’ve sexualized the thing, so of course it becomes exciting and interesting and you’re like, ‘Oh my god,’ titty.’ And then, you know, hormones start raging.”

Justin Baldoni claims he turned to porn to cope with loneliness

He admitted that he often “seeks refuge” in pornography in moments of loneliness, abandonment or emotional pain, describing it as a source of “dopamine rush”.
“I’ve trained my brain to deal with pain because of the dopamine hit … but that doesn’t mean I’m not using things in unhealthy ways,” he shared.
