Last Friday, Lively sued Baldoni, who played her love interest in “It Ends With Us.”

She accused him of sexual harassment and claimed he created a hostile work environment on set.

However, Lively claimed that the director and his PR team waged a smear campaign against her after the meeting.

Baldoni responded to Lively’s legal complaint in a statement from his attorney, Brian Friedman.

He described Lively’s statements as “totally false, outrageous and intentionally obscene with the intent to publicly offend.” Friedman also claimed that the actress used the lawsuit to “reframe the narrative in the media.”

Meanwhile, following Lively’s lawsuit, talent agency WME dropped Baldoni. In addition, the director’s “Voices of Solidarity” award, which he received from the charity Vital Voices, was canceled.
