A sweet moment with Wendy Williams shows White’s growth as a person
White’s continued transformation followed her choice to convert to Christianity sometime in 2022.
After her baptism, she deleted her OnlyFans account and canceled most of the plastic surgeries she had since her rise to fame.
Perhaps one of the most poignant demonstrations of White’s evolution came on Lifetime’s docu-series, Where’s Wendy Williams?, which centers on the former talk show host who is said to be struggling with sobriety. A statement released ahead of the broadcast said Williams had been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.
As seen in the documentaries, White makes a surprise visit to Williams’ apartment during a visit to New York and interacts warmly with her, revealing moments of vulnerability for both women.
Earlier this year, White opened up about their relationship, which first came to light after Williams repeatedly spoke negatively about her during his Hot Topic segments.
“I (eventually) did the show, and as we’re sitting there on the set, she says, ‘Let’s go out to dinner tonight,'” White recalled.
“I really wanted her to see me, (so) we ordered so much food (and) had a great time.”
